Benedicta Anthony Vakuru is a purpose-driven humanitarian and development specialist, with over eight years of professional experience, skilled in executing programs across diverse thematic areas including Livelihood, Peacebuilding, Education, Protection, and Psychosocial Support. Dedicated in promoting and integrating gender equality as a cross cutting theme in project design and implementation. She holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship, a post graduate Diploma in Management, and Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. She is passionate about empowering vulnerable communities through sustainable and participatory approach. Her work on various donor funded projects in Borno, Adamawa, Yobe and Taraba states with organisations including Action Against Hunger International, CRUDAN-OXFAM and the VSF has honed her expertise in different contexts.
As a trustee with a track record of delivering life-saving programs, she brings strategic leadership to SI4SI, ensuring responsive, well-coordinated interventions, strong stakeholder engagement, and donor compliance.
