Chairman, Board of Trustees
Odunaye Oyewale Sunday is a seasoned finance and development expert with over two decades of experience in both the private and humanitarian sectors. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting, an M.Sc. in Finance, and is an alumnus of the prestigious University of London.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), as well as a Certified Forensic Auditor (CFA). Over the years, he has completed multiple professional courses in strategic leadership and humanitarian response, both in Nigeria and abroad.
Before entering the development space, Mr. Odunaye built a successful career in financial accounting, auditing & compliance, tax and treasury management, serving in leadership roles across multinational corporations. He is the Principal Partner at Temafol Global Services, a consulting firm offering tax advisory, financial strategy, training, and forensic services. He also serves on the boards of Temafol Oil & Gas Ltd. and Temafol Construction Co. Ltd.
In 2015, driven by a desire to create wider social impact, he transitioned into the humanitarian sector by joining the Victims Support Fund (VSF)— a government-backed initiative, private-sector-led, under the Nigeria Foundation for the Victims of Terrorism, supporting victims of terrorism and voilent conflict across Nigeria. His work took him to some of the most affected areas in the country, where he championed transparency and accountability in the use of donor and public funds.
His passion for social justice and sustainable development led to the founding of Samaritans Initiative for Sustainable Impact (Si4Si), where he now serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He provides strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the organization remains committed to restoring dignity, inspiring hope, and delivering lasting impact in vulnerable communities.
